Over the past five years, I’ve become a theologian who works on peacebuilding, and who has the privilege of being friends with everybody.

I’ve built connections across ethnic, religious, socio-economic, and political lines.

And in many places with no Christian presence at all.

I’ve seen beautiful things happen when people are able to come together across the lines we’ve created…

And I’ve witnessed the miracle of spiritual transformation, and neighborly solidarity.

I want to keep showing up in places where peace is needed, and especially where Christians are not present.

I’m also uniquely positioned to bring people together and create practical resources to help us address the violence and hostility that keeps us apart. I want to stay present in these spaces, and share what we have learned through real, messy, on-the-ground work.

My theological work also resonates deeply with the deconstructing and others who have been alienated by religion.

And I want to share this work more broadly with the people who desperately need and want it.

So what’s next?

For several years, my work has been funded partially through crowdfunding, and partially through the investment of churches and non-profits who have partnered with me.

I’m now looking to expand my crowdfunding base, and expand my work and the resources I can offer.

  • While I collaborate with several organizations, I do all my work through Peace Catalyst International, where you can also join my crowdfunding campaign to support my podcast and work across diverse communities.

  • Once crowdfunding goals are met, we’ll launch the Dystopian Theology podcast which will tell stories from around the world about theology for the dystopia, and about friendships across lines of difference.

  • In 2026, I have been invited to go overseas to work with Christian peacebuilders in some of the world’s most difficult places. This will let me learn languages, establish working relationships, and gain invaluable experience for future international and U.S. projects.
